Hi there,
Welcome to the first “Milestones with Meg” Blog.
I hope this is going to be the first of many and I cannot wait to share my thoughts, experiences, and professional insights with you.
At around the age of three, when I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I would give one of two answers. One was an ambulance driver, specifically the driver and NOT the people working in the back, which speaks volumes about my type A, driven personality and interest in clinical pursuits. Alternatively, I would say I wanted to be a Momma-there was never much reasoning behind this besides the fact that I loved to take care of others.

This career choice of ‘wanting to be a momma’ has never left me. Rather, it has grown into a passion for nurturing women to become the best mommas they can possibly be. As an Occupational Therapist, I have the pleasure of living this dream. I meet many women from different backgrounds who have experienced vastly different journeys into motherhood, and I am here for it all.
Through these incredible women I have learnt so much professionally and personally, and my goal is to share this knowledge with you; to ensure it is accessible, relatable, and safe so that hopefully one day when my turn comes, and I enter the journey of motherhood, you can all share your knowledge with me too.
For now, I am happily married to the man of my dreams, in love with my profession and dedicated to providing all the moms I encounter unconditional support and evidence based knowledge as we navigate the newborn phase through to the first day of Grade 1.
